Mark Logan, Ph.D.

Mark Logan, Ph.D., is the Executive Director and Superintendent of the Foxborough Regional Charter School in Foxborough, Massachusetts. He supervises all district-wide operations, including personnel, curriculum, instruction, enrollment, facilities, technology, and communication. He is in his 17th year at the district, serving the first two as upper school principal and teacher.

Mark has taught business, civics, leadership, and service to middle and high school students and organizational behavior, political science, marketing, and management to undergraduates. He also was a graduate-level instructor on the topic of early adolescent motivation and the factors that support and impede students in their learning. He’s been a leader within educational policy and legislation, serving on several state committees—including as the founding chair of a state committee focused on equality and equity in education.

He earned a BA in Legal Studies and an MBA at the University of Massachusetts, a Certificate in Advanced Graduate Study at Harvard University, and a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership at Lesley University. Mark has served as a mentor to at-risk youth and has coached baseball, basketball, and football for over 20 years.

Mark is passionate about educational equity and equality, and is a firm believer that a one-size-fits-all educational approach fails to consider how and why children learn and grow. He is committed to ensuring students are afforded a multitude of opportunities to engage in their learning and can develop a path for success they may not have otherwise known.
