Tony Marbury


Tony Marbury is a passionate Information Technology (IT) professional and retired veteran of the United States Air Force, who has held leadership roles in leading INC 500 and Fortune 100 global industries, to include classified consulting, manufacturing, gaming, finance, and healthcare. He demands customer service excellence by identifying and fulfilling client needs and establishing strong and positive relationships with customers. He has a proven record of building leaders, highly effective teams, coaching and aligning organizational structure and goals with company mission and strategy.

Tony is currently the IT Director and HIPAA Compliance & Security officer for Intercept Health, providing services for at-risk youth, adults and families. He has strategic oversight of all technology and the safeguarding of Protected Health information.  A senior leader for the Hospice of the Piedmont, the only accredited nonprofit hospice in Central Virginia, Tony was responsible for all technology and the installation and operation of an industry leading Electronic Medical Record (EMR). As a senior leader for the world’s leading class II gaming company, Video Gaming Technologies, Tony established and built the Center for Customer Excellence (CCE) into an industry leading 24/7/365 remote network operations center. The CCE now serves more than 150 locations spanning the United States and Mexico. For Klöckner Pentaplast, the world’s largest supplier of packaging films, Tony was responsible for developing a state-of-the-art IT infrastructure. His team implemented and maintained the company’s systems support environment, Enterprise Resource Planning and Manufacturing Execution systems. As a consultant for Booz-Allen & Hamilton, a leading provider of management and technology consulting, he managed and provided engineering support for a global operations center in support of the intelligence community. During his 20-years with the US Air Force, Tony provided secure communications systems support to the President and Vice President of the United States, the Secretary of Air Force, the National Security Agency, and the Joint Forces Command.

Tony is very active in the community and believes that service excellence extends beyond the boardroom and is a critical component of inspirational and effective leadership. He is the Youth and Family Ministries Director of his church and a co-founder of a successful mentoring program at Albemarle High School with a goal of helping young men stay in school and realize their potential in improving themselves and contributing to their communities. As the former Vice Chairman of the Piedmont Futures Advisory Board, promoting personal and academic success for all students through regional business and industry involvement.

Tony is actively pursuing a MS degree in Leadership with Embry Riddle Aeronautical University and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Maryland, University College in Management, and while serving in the military, earned a degree in Electronic Systems from the Community College of the Air Force.
