April Ristau
Executive Coach and Corporate Trainer with MSBCoach
April Ristau is an intuitive and innovative professional with a diverse background in sales, coaching, management, leadership, process improvement, project management, personnel administration, training and development, teambuilding and marketing. April is currently a coach and trainer and President of Armillary Coaching. She has coached senior managers one on one and in group settings to help them achieve their goals and change their perspectives to change their results.
April is currently focusing on helping people find their direction through creative channels. In addition to a strong business background, April is also very involved in the community. She is currently mentoring an ex-offender through Offender Aid and Restoration – this program helps ex-offenders re-enter society and be productive citizens. She has used her coaching skills to help hundreds reach their goal of running a marathon as a volunteer/coach for the Richmond Marathon for four years. She is also a 2010 graduate of Leadership Charlottesville where she worked on a project to benefit the Companion Animal Fund. April also graduated from the Neighborhood Leadership Institute, sponsored by the City of Charlottesville, in 2009 where she was recognized for leading a project to promote the Free Smoke Detector Program through the Charlottesville Fire Department. She was featured on NBC29 and recognized by the Fire Department for her work.
